Kindle 2 International - after yesterday 1st generation Kindle reviews now I will review Kindle 2 International. This kindle models is to
International market. Amazon announced an international version of the Kindle 2
with the ability to download new titles in over 100 countries. It appears that
whether the Kindle 2 is clearer or fuzzier than the prior model depends on the
font size. These issues became moot when Amazon sourced a higher contrast E
Ink technology it dubbed "Pearl E-ink" and which it used in all
of its e-reader devices thereafter. Kindle supports wireless delivery of
unprotected Microsoft Word (DOC, DOCX), PDF, HTML, TXT, RTF, JPEG, GIF, PNG,
BMP, PRC and MOBI files. Some complex PDF and DOCX files might not format
correctly on your Kindle. this device is about the size of an average DVD case,
at 8" x 5.3" x 0.36", and weighs 10.2 ounces. The screen measures
6-inches diagonally and has a 600 x 800 pixel display that supports sixteen
